The Smartphone Free Childhood (SFC) Finland group is a volunteer run movement, started by parents whose goal it is to support fellow parents in raising their children in this smartphone ridden world. The more of us there are, the easier it is for kids to be without smartphones.
Our goal is the following: We promise to delay the purchasing of a smartphone to our children, in order to provide a childhood free from the screen.
The pact is anonymous, meaning we will never share your name anywhere. We will only show regional and school wide overviews of the data to show that there are parents who care deeply about this topic. We are only focusing on the number of signatures. The more signatures we have, the more likely it will be that we will see some change.
